Rest and regeneration are natural requirements and should be straightforward enough. But it isn’t always so easy – there may be sleep disorders; maybe we’re still buzzing with the high activity of a day; maybe the problems of that day are keeping us awake. And even when we do get a few hours of downtime, we can wake up groggy or in a negative state, not fresh.

Taking a break for a few days – or doing physical exercise – can be very helpful but they don’t always penetrate into the source of our straining and tangling – in our minds. This retreat is about cultivating rest and regeneration through meditation and inquiry. There will be periods of sitting, standing, walking and reclining meditation, chanting and also some qi gong.

Booking will open in January
