This week-long retreat is an invitation to explore the beauty of knowing yourself more fully—through the meeting of Buddhist wisdom, yogic practice, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychology.

Together we will connect with our innate Awareness—what Buddhism calls Buddha Nature and IFS describes as Self. From this spacious, grounded presence, we can more gently and wisely care for all of our inner parts. Those tender places within us that need compassion can be met with kindness, while the parts of us that shine with natural joy can be welcomed and celebrated.

This retreat is held with trauma sensitivity, honoring each person’s unique journey and allowing space for practices to be engaged with safety, respect, and care.

Through meditation, yin & yang yoga, and Dharma reflections, we will practice relaxing into our naturalness—learning not to take ourselves too seriously, while at the same time offering real love and care to what is uniquely ours. In this balance of tenderness and play, compassion and lightness, we discover a freedom that comes from being more wholly ourselves.

This retreat is open to everyone of all levels and experience.

I teach a functional yoga which means the postures are there to support your individual structure and psyche. We won’t tie ourselves into crazy yoga knots, rather we will unwind, stretch, and strengthen our precious bodies. Feel welcome if you have no experience at all or are a seasoned practitioner. Variety and options will be offered.

This retreat will be held in silence.

Engaging in a silent retreat, especially if you’re new to silence, offers a unique opportunity for self-discovery and inner growth. While it might seem daunting at first, immersing yourself in silence can be incredibly liberating. It allows you to step away from the habitual patterns of everyday life, giving you the space to connect more deeply with yourself. This isn’t always an easy task but it is deeply rewarding. Layers of fixed behaviour get shed, leaving you lighter and freer. Silence fosters mindfulness and presence, offering a pathway to deeper insights, personal reflection, and spiritual connection.

May this retreat fill you with
grounded embodied presence,
an open heart,
and
a clear spacious mind.
