This retreat will interweave the practices of meditation with mindful movement and yoga practice, all as supports for insight, awakening, and freeing ourselves from habitual patterns. The retreat will include 2 periods of mindful movement each day along with silent and guided meditations, and meetings with the teachers. The movement practices are designed to greatly enhance the sensitivity and steadiness of mind in attending deeply to moment-to-moment experience, and to be integrative in bringing awareness and inquiry into all moments and activities of life.

The retreat is suitable for both beginners and more experienced practitioners in yoga and/or meditation but is not suitable for pregnant woman.

The retreat will be held mostly in silence, except for times indicated by the teacher.

The retreat conforms to guidelines for MBSR instructors fulfilling retreat training requirements.
