A Boundless Heart : Exploring the Brahma Viharas
With Gail Aylward and Martin Aylward
July 7 - 12, 2026
Language: English
At the heart of Buddhist teaching lie four dimensions of love, known as the Brahma Viharas—radiant friendliness, compassionate care, delight and wonder, and radical openness. These sublime qualities dissolve the barriers between self, other, and world, and open us into the vast expanse of an awakened heart.
Through meditation, conscious movement, teachings, and dialogic inquiry, we will together explore these immeasurable states — not as distant ideals, but as intimate, embodies experiences, and as the very essence of a free and full life. This retreat is for anyone wishing to open the heart, steady the mind, and embody the resilience and ease of awakened presence and an unbound heart.
(This retreat will be held in silence. It conforms to the criteria necessary for Mindfulness Instructors in Training)
